Jasmine Sliger is a cross-cultural, counselling and organisational psychologist. She is a fellow of the College of Counselling Psychologists and is a multilingual, clinically trained psychologist. Jasmine is also a member of the International Association of Cross Cultural Psychologists.
She was born in New York, grew up in Canada and the USA, her family for generations being from Colombia, South America. She married an Australian and has made her home here ever since.
In her 30+ year career she’s worked in prisons, hospitals, and schools; she’s consulted to some of Australia’s biggest companies, lectured and mentored health professionals and provided counselling services to children and adolescents, couples and families.
In her clinical work, she has had many varied positions which include the chair of the Psychology and Cultures Interest Group for the Australian Psychological Society , a supervising psychologist of clinical, counselling and organisational psychologists, a crisis team coordinator and clinical director of programs for disturbed adolescents, and founded therapeutic programs in Australia and the USA.
She is registered with AHPRA, The Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency and is registered with Medicare and Workers Compensation.
Jasmine is also a nationally accredited Mediator for workplace and family mediations.
