Jasmine Sliger

Jasmine Sliger is the founder of JSA International Communications and JSA Counselling. She is a multilingual, clinically trained psychologist with a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in the US.

She was born in New York, grew up in Canada and the USA, her family for generations being from Colombia, South America. She married an Australian and has made her home here since 1986.

In her 30+ year career she’s worked in prisons, hospitals, and schools; she’s consulted to some of Australia’s biggest companies, lectured and mentored health professionals and provided counselling services to children and adolescents, couples and families.

In her 30 years of clinical work, she has had many varied positions which have included past president of ASSERT (The Australian Society of Sex Educators, Researchers and Therapists) NSW, a supervising psychologist of clinical, counselling and organisational psychologists,  a crisis team coordinator and clinical director of programs for distrurbed adolescents, and founded thereupeutic programs in Australia and the USA.

She is registered with AHPRA, The Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency, is a member of the Counselling and Organisational Colleges of the Australian Psychological Society and is registered with Medicare and Workers Compensation.

Jasmine is also a nationally accredited Mediator for workplace and family mediations.
